Current CRM purchase procedure
Updated October 4, 2026. Individuals and companies may submit personal or company details, contact information, quantity, preferred purity, and a nominated refinery or delivery address. After acceptance of the purchase procedure, CRM sends an FCO for review and signature. The FCO and SPA confirm the order terms.
Orders of 5 kg and above require a 10% deposit of the agreed purchase value before shipment. The deposit is part of the purchase price and is credited against the final balance. After receipt, CRM arranges export documentation and transportation to the nominated refinery or agreed address.
For refinery deliveries, the final balance is due within 24 hours of assay confirmation, based on the agreed price and confirmed weight and purity, less the deposit. Client-address testing, acceptance and payment timing are stated in the FCO and SPA. Ownership transfers after final payment is received.
Testing purchases from 100 g to 4 kg are available in 23K or 24K. Prices, payment and delivery terms are confirmed separately before ordering. The bulk deposit schedule does not automatically apply to testing purchases.
Accepted payment methods are SWIFT bank wire, USDT on TRC20 or ERC20, and Bitcoin (BTC), using instructions on the invoice or signed agreement. CRM does not accept escrow, documentary letters of credit or similar banking instruments.
Relevant shipment documents include the assay report, Certificate of Origin, export permit and shipping details. Shipment terms and cost responsibilities are confirmed in the signed FCO and executed SPA; the SPA governs any differences. Read the purchase process or view the current FAQ.
If you want to buy gold in East Africa and not get played like a tourist, you need the real hustle map. Each country’s got its own flavor—different paperwork, different politics, different gatekeepers. This ain’t just gold buying—it’s chess with smugglers, officials, and gold kings. This is the no-BS, boots-on-the-ground blueprint.
🇺🇬 Uganda: The Smuggler’s Shortcut and Legit Export Hub
Why Uganda owns the game:
- Kampala is East Africa’s gold artery. Everyone moves gold through it—legit or not.
- Gold from Sudan, Congo, Tanzania ends up here for refining and shipping.
How to Buy Smart:
- Work only with licensed exporters (like Congo Rare Minerals with FCOs and SPA-ready).
- Get the Assay Report, Export Permit, and Certificate of Origin—no docs, no deal.
- Watch out for sellers who can’t provide a refinery address.
🇰🇪 Kenya: Bureaucracy Meets the Nairobi Hustle
Why it’s tricky but worth it:
- Nairobi is fast rising, with gold from Western Kenya and refugee-smuggled DRC gold.
- Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) tracks every gram now.
How to Move Clean:
- Insist on KRA-verified sellers and export license.
- Avoid “we’ll ship from another country” deals—99% are bait.
- Accepted payment methods are SWIFT bank wire, USDT on TRC20 or ERC20, and Bitcoin (BTC), using instructions on the invoice or signed agreement. CRM does not accept escrow, documentary letters of credit or similar banking instruments.
🇹🇿 Tanzania: Land of Mines and Mining Mafia
Why Tanzania matters:
- Big players operate here. Massive fields in Mwanza, Geita, Shinyanga.
- Government is tightening up with mineral export control via TMAA.
How to Win:
- Only buy gold that’s cleared by Tanzania Minerals Commission.
- Use Dar es Salaam airport’s official cargo hub—anything else is ghost freight.
- Avoid night shipments. Bribe culture is thick—go clean or get burned.
🇨🇩 DRC: The Purest Gold, The Wildest Game
Why DRC’s the crown jewel:
- This is where the purest nuggets (95–99%) on Earth come from.
- Ituri, Bas-Uele, Kivu—loaded zones, but security is dicey.
How to Hustle Safely:
- Work through Uganda for DRC gold—it’s legal, traceable, safer.
- Use companies like CRM with pre-refined, pre-verified Congo stock.
- Don’t step into DRC unless you know a fixer, lawyer, and armed guard.
🇿🇲 Zambia: Africa’s Underdog Just Getting Started
Why Zambia’s hot:
- Rich fields in Mwinilunga, Kasenseli. Underexploited, undervalued.
- Gov’t partnered with ZCCM to formalize export and refining.
How to Move Smart:
- Partner with exporters registered with the Bank of Zambia.
- Confirm taxes and royalties are paid—this avoids customs drama.
- Start small, scale fast. Zambia’s gold market is still forming—you can carve your territory.
Final Word from Frank
You don’t step into East Africa and “buy gold.” You build connections, learn paperwork warfare, and roll with operators who live this every damn day. We at Congo Rare Minerals run these corridors legally, clean, and fast.
Buy like a local. Get documents right. Get gold delivered.
This is the East Africa gold hustle. Play smart or get played.
