Current CRM purchase procedure
Updated October 4, 2026. Individuals and companies may submit personal or company details, contact information, quantity, preferred purity, and a nominated refinery or delivery address. After acceptance of the purchase procedure, CRM sends an FCO for review and signature. The FCO and SPA confirm the order terms.
Orders of 5 kg and above require a 10% deposit of the agreed purchase value before shipment. The deposit is part of the purchase price and is credited against the final balance. After receipt, CRM arranges export documentation and transportation to the nominated refinery or agreed address.
For refinery deliveries, the final balance is due within 24 hours of assay confirmation, based on the agreed price and confirmed weight and purity, less the deposit. Client-address testing, acceptance and payment timing are stated in the FCO and SPA. Ownership transfers after final payment is received.
Testing purchases from 100 g to 4 kg are available in 23K or 24K. Prices, payment and delivery terms are confirmed separately before ordering. The bulk deposit schedule does not automatically apply to testing purchases.
Accepted payment methods are SWIFT bank wire, USDT on TRC20 or ERC20, and Bitcoin (BTC), using instructions on the invoice or signed agreement. CRM does not accept escrow, documentary letters of credit or similar banking instruments.
Relevant shipment documents include the assay report, Certificate of Origin, export permit and shipping details. Shipment terms and cost responsibilities are confirmed in the signed FCO and executed SPA; the SPA governs any differences. Read the purchase process or view the current FAQ.
For many new investors, the first question is: “Is it safe to buy gold online?”
The short answer: Yes – buying gold online can be just as safe (or safer) than buying in person, provided you use a trusted dealer.
The key is knowing what to look for in a safe online gold dealer and how to spot scams before it’s too late. This guide explains exactly how.
Why Buying Gold Online Is Safe – If You Choose the Right Dealer
Just like in any industry, there are both trusted sellers and fraudsters.
Buying from a legitimate online dealer offers advantages:
- ✅ Convenience: Shop 24/7, compare products instantly.
- ✅ Competitive Pricing: Dealers update prices live with the gold spot market.
- ✅ Global Access: Buy from anywhere and have gold shipped securely or stored in a vault.
- ✅ Privacy & Security: Discreet shipping with insurance and no cash handling risks.
⚠️ But if you pick the wrong seller, you risk fake products, hidden fees, or outright fraud.
How to Avoid Gold Scams Online
Here are red flags to watch for:
- 🚩 Too-Good-To-Be-True Prices – Scammers lure buyers with prices well below spot. Real dealers don’t sell at a loss.
- 🚩 No Industry Credentials – If a dealer isn’t LBMA-certified or BBB-accredited, think twice.
- 🚩 Shady Payment Methods – Demands for gift cards, crypto, or “friends & family” transfers.
- 🚩 No Physical Address or Contact Info – A legitimate dealer is transparent about its business.
- 🚩 Bad Reviews or No Track Record – Always check Trustpilot, BBB, or Google Reviews.
Checklist: Choosing a Safe Online Gold Dealer
When evaluating a gold dealer, make sure they provide:
- LBMA or recognized certification (proof of authentic sourcing).
- Transparent pricing tied to live spot rates.
- Insured, discreet shipping with tracking and signature required.
- Clear buyback policy so you can sell your gold easily.
- Positive customer reviews across trusted platforms.
- Secure website (SSL encryption, visible trust seals).
