Wholesale Gold: How to Buy Big Without Risking It All

Current CRM purchase procedure

Updated October 4, 2026. Individuals and companies may submit personal or company details, contact information, quantity, preferred purity, and a nominated refinery or delivery address. After acceptance of the purchase procedure, CRM sends an FCO for review and signature. The FCO and SPA confirm the order terms.

Orders of 5 kg and above require a 10% deposit of the agreed purchase value before shipment. The deposit is part of the purchase price and is credited against the final balance. After receipt, CRM arranges export documentation and transportation to the nominated refinery or agreed address.

For refinery deliveries, the final balance is due within 24 hours of assay confirmation, based on the agreed price and confirmed weight and purity, less the deposit. Client-address testing, acceptance and payment timing are stated in the FCO and SPA. Ownership transfers after final payment is received.

Testing purchases from 100 g to 4 kg are available in 23K or 24K. Prices, payment and delivery terms are confirmed separately before ordering. The bulk deposit schedule does not automatically apply to testing purchases.

Accepted payment methods are SWIFT bank wire, USDT on TRC20 or ERC20, and Bitcoin (BTC), using instructions on the invoice or signed agreement. CRM does not accept escrow, documentary letters of credit or similar banking instruments.

Relevant shipment documents include the assay report, Certificate of Origin, export permit and shipping details. Shipment terms and cost responsibilities are confirmed in the signed FCO and executed SPA; the SPA governs any differences. Read the purchase process or view the current FAQ.

Big gold buyers don’t play small—and neither should you. But buying wholesale gold isn’t just about bigger bars and better deals. It’s about protecting yourself from massive loss, fake deals, and international traps. If you want to go bulk without going broke, this is your playbook.

Why Go Wholesale?

  • Lower Premiums: Wholesale buyers often pay 1–2% over spot vs. 5–15% for retail.
  • Bulk Leverage: Bigger buys = more negotiation power.
  • Vault Strategy: Store once, ship less, save big.

The Wholesale Risk Factor

More money, more problems—unless you prepare. Risks include:

  • Fake certificates and impure gold.
  • Delayed or non-existent delivery.
  • Customs issues and impoundments.
  • Fraudulent suppliers posing as “wholesale exporters.”

Step-by-Step: Buying Wholesale Gold Safely

1. Source Direct from Certified Exporters

  • Work only with licensed wholesalers who can show government-issued export licenses.
  • Avoid third-party resellers or unverifiable brokers.
  • Congo Rare Minerals is a trusted exporter providing full-chain verification.

2. Demand Gold Documentation in Advance

  • Request full details: weight, purity, refinery certificates, origin papers.

3. Negotiate Terms Like a Pro

  • Write up formal contracts with delivery schedules, refund clauses and dispute resolution paths.
  • Use lawyers familiar with international bullion trade.

Confirm order details and agreed terms

  • Never wire funds directly on first deals mostly to brokers.
  • Accepted payment methods are SWIFT bank wire, USDT on TRC20 or ERC20, and Bitcoin (BTC), using instructions on the invoice or signed agreement. CRM does not accept escrow, documentary letters of credit or similar banking instruments.

5. Plan Storage and Shipping Strategically

  • Use bonded warehouses or international vaults (Switzerland, Dubai, or South Africa).
  • Ship in certified, insured containers via GreenLink Freigh Logistics, Brinks or Malca-Amit.
  • Handle customs through experienced clearing agents.
